This name kept popping up when my Youtube subscribers wanted me to react to a singer: Dimash Kudaibergen.
I didn’t read or hear anything about/of him until I pressed play on this recording of his. Spoiler alert: I was blown away by his vocal range and precision.
Some takeaways:
- His vocal range is amazing, from deep baritone/bass to the high soprano notes.
- His falsetto is very good. He can play with it: make it airy or more round.
- He creates an effect of being able to sound like a man or woman at the same time.
