Traditional voice lessons have their limits—my program makes you achieve in 6 months what usually takes two years, all while making the experience more fun.
Unlock your true voice, overcome performance anxiety, and finally enjoy the singing life you’ve postponed for too long.
Why traditional singing lessons often don't get singers results
Traditional voice lessons have limitations, both in terms of their philosophy and their method. We can do much, much better.
1. They're only about technique
The traditional method of vocal coaching starts with the assumption that mastering vocal technique is the only way to enjoy singing. Lessons are technique, technique, and more technique.
My approach flips this on its head. I believe that enjoyment is the key to unlocking your true potential. Instead of diving headfirst into technique, I begin by removing mental blockages—fear, hesitation, and self-doubt—so that singing feels joyful right from the start.
Why? Because you can't make progress if you think you sound bad.
2. The teacher is all over the place
What happens in most singing lessons is that the teacher is just putting out fires: working on technical issues that show up on the spot.
But this unstructured approach won't get students from point A to B.
I have a system though. We'll identify your 'sticks in the wheel' and remove them one by one. Focus matters here. Only after one issue is resolved, we move to the next. And then we scale up each aspect of your voice. I'm greedy: I don't settle for a small progress!
3. The student is lost between lessons
Traditionally, voice students are sent home and left to their own devices. Most people don't have the discipline to practice regularly. Or they get stuck with an issue they can't resolve on their own.
My approach is different. You always have access to me. As a student, you can contact me anytime. Send me a direct message with a question, or a short video of you singing. I'll get back to you with feedback.
This speeds up the learning curve dramatically.
4. It's a solo enterprise
Singing is an ancient communal experience. So why are we often alone, or just with the teacher in the room?
Regardless of the domain, we learn faster in groups than alone.
In my program, we regularly work in groups. Groups are motivating. You learn from insights that others get: the masterclass effect. Also, you are inspired to study harder, drawing inspiration and encouragement from other students' wins.
Introducing: From Whisper to Roar - Transform your singing in 6 months
The combination of permanent access to my video lessons, the group meetings AND one-on-one feedback between lessons is rocket fuel for your progress. I can promise you a lot in 6 months. It's up to you what you want to achieve.
The 3 Pillars of From Whisper to Roar
There are 3 pillars to my program. They set up a foundation that is different from the traditional ways of vocal coaching.
1. Weekly online group masterclasses
... Working in the weekly group format is not only inspiring and fun, it also holds you accountable and accelerates your learning curve. We learn best in groups.
In these online group calls, we do group work and individual work: the masterclass format.
The calls are online and recorded, so you can always re-watch a missed one.
2. The candy store
... You get permanent access to my online video vault (aka the Candy Store), so you always have access to my voice lessons, ranging from warmup to performance exercises, to yoga practice and pep talks. It's my entire vault of knowledge and inspiration, to which you will have life-long access.
I point you to relevant practice videos, so you are sure to practice what is right for you at a certain point.
3. Access to me
You get personal access to me for feedback between lessons. Send me fragments of you singing, ask questions and I'll get back to you fast.
This guarantees you will never get stuck, which would happen in the traditional format of weekly voice lessons. I can correct you early in your tracks. This vastly accelerates your progress between lessons.
Here’s what people are saying
Simon Bitton
IT developer and amateur musical singer
"Finally found a method that works for me"
"Do it ASAP! After years of on and off vocal lessons, I finally found a method that works for me when I started working with Linor. She’s the most present vocal coach I’ve ever had."
Jim Snyder
Lawyer, bar and event singer
'I earned over $2000 singing and playing at parties'
"The idea that an accomplished opera singer like Linor could help a rock/country guitar performer like me seemed illogical at first. But Linor’s relaxed and passionate approach is helping me sing better. I earned over $2,000 singing and playing at parties & got hired for several more."
Jill Delling (21)
Student Music Performance at ICMP
'Accepted into Vocal Academy!'
“When I started with Linor, I had no technical skills and never sang a whole song in front of somebody. Now I know what is happening with my voice. I can assess better if something is feeling right or not. And then figure it out myself. Last year I decided to apply to the Music Performance and Vocal Academy in London. I had practiced the audition with Linor with specific exercises. And I got accepted!”
Linor Oren, Guide on your Vocal Journey
As a young girl, I shied away from singing lessons. I was 21 when I finally started.
I overcame a bad case of stage fright and some tough posture issues. This would later help me as a teacher: I know what students struggle with.
I graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
In 2010, I moved to Berlin, where I studied with renowned opera singers.
The impact of their teaching exploded when I started figuring out the principles that I reveal in this program: I reached a professional level.
I performed in Opera and Music Theater Projects, such as a 80 day tour of Das Phantom Der Oper.
I've taught over 350 singing students, some 'tough nuts to crack' too. But I cracked them.
For my students I developed a system, that I want more people to benefit from: this program.
Caroline Hesse
College student and choir singer
'Discovered skills I never thought I had'
"Linor is a truly amazing vocal coach! In only a handful of lessons with her, I’ve had several epiphanies where I've discovered skills I never thought I had. I find it remarkable how much more confident I have become as a singer in such a short time!"
Gabi Buza
Aspiring singer/songwriter
'Transformed my voice, confidence, and on-stage performance'
"Linor has had an incredible impact on my singing journey! Her unwavering dedication and expertise have been instrumental in transforming my voice, confidence, and on-stage performance. The carefully crafted performance exercises she provided me with have been sooo valuable in honing my sound and elevating my abilities to new heights."
Dunya (,36)
Front-end developer and musical singer
'I landed two roles in musical productions'
"Linor's program is one of the greatest investments I’ve made. What I learned I can use for the rest of my life – it’s something I will always go back to as a singer to work on certain issues. Thanks to Linor's program, I landed two roles in musical productions in Amsterdam."

'One of the great joys of my life'
"I was really nervous to try a singing lesson. I always loved to sing along with songs, but never thought of myself as a “singer”.
Working with Linor has been one of the great joys of my life! She opened up a whole new side of me and helped me explore something I really love! It’s amazing how my voice has changed. I have learned so much about the instrument that is the human body. If you are unsure if you want to try a lesson with her, DO IT! You won’t regret it!"
Carla Paping
Singing student and ukulele player
"The performance exercises saved me on stage at my brother’s wedding"
"It used to be my conviction that singing is something that other people do, not me. I trusted Linor, I felt comfortable with her. At first the exercises felt a bit unnatural. But as the results came, singing started to get actually really fun.
When my brother prepared for his wedding, I let myself be persuaded to perform. Linor gave me performance exercises. For example, in one exercise I had to sing for her while she as an audience member played distracted. My task was to draw her back in. This turned out to be a life saving exercise.
At the wedding, as I started my song, many people were talking. Without the exercise I might have gotten discouraged or silent. Now I just kept singing and drew them in.”
Andrey Kuzmin
Amateur singer
“From no clue to amateur performance in 6 months”
“Forget about your age, lack of confidence, etc. Linor is very proficient in identifying exactly what are your strong and weak points, and gives you personalised tips and exercises to work on them.
As I followed those tips and exercises, I had notable progress literally after every lesson. In about half a year after having no idea on what is singing, I was able to give my first amateur performance. In parallel, I was able to join a choir for the first time which happened after just 3 months after the start.
In addition to being very proficient in vocal matters, Linor is also a very kind teacher who gets inspired by your progress every time, which really helps to carry on even at times when one’s learning curve inevitably goes down..“
Stop whispering, start roaring
Many of my singing students didn't dare to sing out loud when they came to me. 'The neighbours'. I ask them: what is the purpose of your voice? Your voice is made by you, in an important sense it IS you. If you put it down, shush it all the time, you're silencing yourself.
I once worked with a shy student on exploring her loud voice. It started paying off and she was quite taken by it. One day she told me: 'I realized that I've always been a little mouse. I was barely speaking, barely singing. I was hiding. I think it's time I stopped being a little mouse.'
faq
I teach all styles. Most of my students like to learn pop or musical singing.
Unless there was damage done to your vocal cords, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to learn how to sing. It will probably take time, because either you are out of shape physically, or maybe you have gotten some bad vocal habits over the years. The continuous feedback of the program guarantees that you won't sing irresponsibly.
Act on your love of singing
Many singing students who come to me are afraid of singing— on stage or even in their own homes. They worry that their neighbors will overhear them.
That was me once. As a teenager, I only sang in empty bus stations. The fear of someone hearing my voice was unbearable, paralysing. But the urge to sing was equally powerful.
When I turned 21, something happened that changed everything. I realised that I could no longer be a little mouse.
This revelation came after my first singing lesson. My teacher encouraged me to explore and express my voice—something I had never allowed myself to do.
Afterward, I was exhilarated. As I ran home, high on dopamine and adrenaline, I realised this feeling was the same as when I had my first kiss. I discovered that singing was my true love.
Fast forward twenty years, and as a singing teacher, I often get approached by candidate students in their 50s, 60s, or even 70s. They tell me, "I've avoided singing all my life, but I can't wait any longer."
And I tell them—your love for singing won’t fade. It’s time to stop postponing your dream.
