“Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would go where it's going. I sang in public. I don't know how you got me to do that... I’m finally starting to find my voice - not just in singing, but in other areas of my life too.”

Champness Jack

Engineer and singer/songwriter

'Do it. Life's too short. If you have something in you that needs to sing for any reason, even if it's just singing to grandkids, then this course, this experience will add immeasurably to that part of your life.'

Is singing like oxygen to you?

Is singing like oxygen to you? Do you not feel fully alive without expressing your music?

I'm with you. For my students and me, singing isn’t just a hobby we “should do more of.” It’s the part of us that lifts us up, expresses our truth, makes life worth living.

And yet… so many aspiring singers live like little mice.

They sing quietly. They hesitate joining that choir, recording their own songs, shy away from performing at their friend's wedding.

They wait until they’re “good enough,” “confident enough,” “ready.” But here’s the thing: every time you shush your voice, you rehearse being small.

But what if the singer you hear in your head could become the singer other people hear in the room?

My intensive program From Whisper to Roar is for those of us who can’t live without music, and are finally ready to act like it.

And not just get better singing… but a voice that carries, and an artist who shows up.

Introducing From Whisper to Roar

I will build your voice and presence. With a clear path, consistent coaching, and fast feedback. Because you don’t need more vague inspiration… you need a process of continuous coaching from me and an encouraging community.

As you might have understood, I do things different from the traditional way.

The Traditional way versus the ROAR way

Traditional voice lessons have limitations, both in terms of their philosophy and their method. If you’ve tried the “old way” and felt stuck, it’s not because you lack talent or discipline - it’s because the method was missing the ingredients that create real change: joy, structure, support, and momentum.

Putting out fires

Many teachers fix whatever problem shows up in the moment. It can help short-term, but it’s rarely a structured path from A to B.

A clear system

We identify your biggest “sticks in the wheel,” remove them one by one, and only then move on. When one piece clicks, we scale it, because I don’t do tiny progress.

You’re stuck between lessons

You go home with good intentions… then get stuck, lose discipline, or repeat the same mistakes for weeks.

Fast feedback loop

You’re supported between sessions. Ask me questions, send a short practice clip, get a quick response. So you adjust immediately and keep moving in the right direction.

Singing as a lonely enterprise

It’s just you and the teacher. You miss the accountability, learning-by-watching, and courage that comes from shared progress.

The masterclass + community momentum

We work in groups regularly. You learn from others’ coaching, get inspired by their wins, and practice more consistently because you’re not doing it alone.

The combination of permanent access to my video lessons, the group meetings AND one-on-one feedback between lessons is rocket fuel for your progress. I can promise you a lot in 6 months. It's up to you what you want to achieve and we'll make it happen.

What my students are saying

Jim Snyder, lawyer and event singer

Jim: 'Before the program, I didn't feel as confident. Therefore I just turned up my guitar more.  I was amazed by the progress before this program, when I just took some lessons with you. But it's really accelerated with this program. I'm on a roll. 'People  think I magically became a good singer. I feel like I'm a more well-rounded performer now. My little music career, I feel like it means a lot to you. And that means a lot to me.'

Dhritigna, college student

Dhritigna: 'I went to like more than 10 doctors for my vocal issues and got completely different diagnoses, even advice to get surgeries. After working with you, the stress and pain have gone, and I can sing with ease and use more power. That's a really huge thing for me: it affects the confidence as well on stage. I'm so grateful for it!'

The 3 Pillars of From Whisper to Roar

There are 3 pillars to my program. They set up a foundation that is different from the traditional ways of vocal coaching.

1. Weekly online group masterclasses

... Working in the weekly group format is not only inspiring and fun, it also holds you accountable and accelerates your learning curve. We learn best in groups.

In these online group calls, we do group work and individual work: the masterclass format.

The calls are online and recorded, so you can always re-watch a missed one.

2. My candy store

... You get life-long access to all my teachings and inspiration: an online vault of 100+ videos (aka the Candy Store). You have instant access to my videos, ranging from warmup exercises, help with stage fright, yoga exercises that release your voice, pep talks, fun teaching tools such as educational reaction videos, and much more.

I point you to relevant practice videos, so you are sure to practice what is right for you at a certain point.

3. Access to me

You get personal access to me for feedback between lessons. Send me fragments of you singing, ask questions and I'll get back to you in a reaction video.

This guarantees you will never get stuck, which would happen in the traditional format of weekly voice lessons. I can correct you early in your tracks. This vastly accelerates your progress between lessons.

In the video, you see an example of such 'a-synchronous feedback', posted here with my student Yumiko's permission.

My students about ROAR

Emilie kampman, business analyst & choir singer

Emilie: 'I truly thought I would never improve. But I kept on doing the small exercises, and in the end, it did pay off. I was shocked. It finally sounded like I wanted it to. [...] It’s like a gym. If I commit to a group, I show up. That accountability made all the difference for me. [...] I thought I could never sing ‘Hurt’ by Christina Aguilera. But I did—and it came out beautifully. That was huge for me. [...] It’s like writing a thesis. It’s hard, you’ll hit walls, but every bit of progress is worth it. And you’re not doing it alone. The group cheers you on the whole way.”.'

Lorna James, lawyer and songwriter/musician

Lorna: '“Before working with Linor I could hold a tune, but I felt timid, ran out of breath, and was embarrassed to sing around other musicians. Within weeks of her program I found real confidence, even singing a cappella, and my studio engineer, who works with professionals, was blown away by the change.”

About Linor, Guide on your Vocal Journey

As a young girl, I shied away from singing lessons. I was 21 when I finally started.

I overcame a bad case of stage fright and some tough posture issues. This would later help me as a teacher:  I know what students struggle with.

graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

In 2010, I moved to Berlin, where I studied with renowned opera singers.

The impact of their teaching exploded when I started figuring out the principles that I reveal in this program: I reached a professional level.

I performed in Opera and Music Theater Projects, such as a 80 day tour of Das Phantom Der Oper.

I've taught over 350 singing students, some 'tough nuts to crack' too. But I cracked them.

For my students I developed a system, that I want more people to benefit from: this program.

Why ROAR works better than traditional singing lessons

From Whisper to Roar is built to give you a clear path, fast feedback, and a community that keeps you moving.

  • R — Remove the blocks (fear, hesitation, self-doubt)
  • O — One clear roadmap (no firefighting, step-by-step)
  • A — Access to Linor (unlimited feedback between group sessions)
  • R — Rise together (group momentum + masterclass effect)

Champness Jack, engineer and singer-songwriter

Champness Jack: 'Do it. Jump for it. Life's too short. Don't hesitate. If you have something in you that needs to sing for any reason, even if it's just singing to grandkids or kids or singing to yourself in the park or whatever, then this course, this experience will add immeasurably to that part of your life.'

Silvia Roman, marketeer, entrepreneur and singer

Silvia Roman: “My biggest fear was that I was gonna face a reality in which my voice had a cap… that it wouldn’t progress. But I found that it’s definitely not true.”

“I was surprised that even with that level of busyness, I was still able to commit... and not feel overwhelmed. And yeah, after six months, surprised to see also the outcomes of it.”

Ellen Frisbie, portrait photographer

Ellen Frisbie: “Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would go where it's going. I sang in public - that was a shock to me. I don't know how you got me to do that, but it's like an out-of-body experience. [...] I’m finally starting to find my voice - not just in singing, but in other areas of my life too.” [...] “I was filled with dread before every class… but I did it anyway. And that changed everything.”

Kim Bockelman, aka
Exzenya, released an album

Kim Bockelman: “It has helped me in every aspect of my life with my confidence. I feel myself changing, becoming a more confident person. This course opened up that possibility of saying, 'Hey, you know what? I don't have to be so fearful.' It's just led to this person I'm becoming.

You're not just buying into a course for singing or for stage fright. You're buying into a community that helps you to succeed."

Bonus

This program is tailored to your needs.

If I see you need to practice a certain thing, I will make a video of it and store it in the candy store.

View me as your personal chef: I prepare according to your needs and wishes.

kayla Burton

Kayla: 'Before I joined the program, I was just tensing. I didn't know anything about bodywork. My previous voice teacher wasn't big on explanations. But your exercises are the only ones that i ever found that actually worked. When I joined the program, it made me take my healing seriously. I'm really grateful for you. Thank you.

Stop whispering, start roaring

Many of my singing students didn't dare to sing out loud when they came to me. 'The neighbours'. I ask them: what is the purpose of your voice? Your voice is made by you, in an important sense it IS you. If you put it down, shush it all the time, you're silencing yourself.

I once worked with a shy student on exploring her loud voice. It started paying off and she was quite taken by it. One day she told me: 'I realized that I've always been a little mouse. I was barely speaking, barely singing. I was hiding. I think it's time I stopped being a little mouse.'

faq

What is the level of the other students?

We work in groups. Most of the participants are beginners or at least have some vocal or mental issues they want to work on. Many have stage aspirations, often the smaller stage. Some sing for money, but most purely for the enjoyment. For example as singer-songwriters.

what styles do you teach?

I teach all styles. Most of my students like to learn pop or musical singing.

Can i even sing? my voice isn't good (anymore)

Unless there was damage done to your vocal cords, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to learn how to sing. It will probably take time, because either you are out of shape physically, or maybe you have gotten some bad vocal habits over the years. The continuous feedback of the program guarantees that you won't sing irresponsibly.

What is the time investment?

Regular practice is more important than long sessions far between. In some weeks you'll dedicate more time, in other weeks, where you have less time, I'll advice to dedicate let's say 15 minutes per day, 4 days per week.

I have some stage fright, is that a problem?

Not at all. The majority of my students experience this. In the beginning, some are comfortable with just watching and then progressively taking baby steps. There's a system to getting over stage fright. We'll take it in your own pace. But trust me, you can get far in 6 months.

Act on your love of singing

"Many singing students who come to me are afraid of singing— on stage or even in their own homes. They worry that their neighbors will overhear them.

That was me once. As a teenager, I only sang in empty bus stations. The fear of someone hearing my voice was unbearable, paralysing. But the urge to sing was equally powerful.

When I turned 21, something happened that changed everything. I realised that I could no longer be a little mouse.

This revelation came after my first singing lesson. My teacher encouraged me to explore and express my voice—something I had never allowed myself to do.

Afterward, I was exhilarated. As I ran home, high on dopamine and adrenaline, I realised this feeling was the same as when I had my first kiss. I discovered that singing was my true love.

Fast forward twenty years, and as a singing teacher, I often get approached by candidate students in their 50s, 60s, or even 70s. They tell me, "I've avoided singing all my life, but I can't wait any longer."

And I tell them—your love for singing won’t fade. It’s time to stop postponing your dream."

Linor Oren
